Awarded Army Logistics Inventory Management Contract
LSI selected to provide its logistics/inventory
management capabilities to support PM LIS and the Army STAMIS.

-- Logistics Systems Incorporated (LSI) announced today that
it has been awarded a contract to provide logistics and inventory
management services to the Army’s Project Manager, Logistics
Information Systems (PM LIS).
The warehouse management support provided to PM LIS under
this contract will facilitate the worldwide deployment of
high value STAMIS computer and communications technologies,
and will operate near the PM LIS headquarters at Fort Lee,
Virginia.
LSI currently provides similar information management services
to customers in the Department of Defense and Department of
Transportation. President and Chief Executive Officer Lawrence
Wilkerson said, “We are extremely pleased with this
contract and the confidence that the Army continues to show
in LSI. This contract represents an important step in LSI’s
continued growth and development. We look forward to working
with PM LIS managers to help them achieve their logistics
goals.”
